ParticipantHi,
I installed PulseStation on my Synology (6.0). If I click an extension for download a 405 error occurs.
Thanx,

KeymasterHi Edwin,
405 means method not allowed.
How do you see this error? Do you get a pop-up or do you see it when inspecting the call?
I haven’t seen this before. Can you share a screenshot with me?
Kind regards,

ParticipantThe error is visible in the chrome console. No popup. It seems the download is started but it keeps running infinite. You can download a screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8d3isuxdup7vy16/Screenshot.jpeg?dl=0

KeymasterAre all permissions still ok in terms of writing to the /services and /data folder?
Could be that permissions are wrong and that that’s why it won’t download.Or are you running on https your client and is it trying to download from http?
If so, I need to change the update path to use the https version, I have it anyway.Kind regards,

ParticipantHi,
Where can I find those directories?
Kind regards,

ParticipantUpdate: I enabled php errors and now the 405 error is gone. Instead of that I get a popup with “there was a problem during the installation of the module”.

ParticipantFound the directories. They are located at /var/packages/PulseStation/target/PulseStation. Both are 0775.

ParticipantHi,
I guess I have the same problem. Same problem during the addon installations.
But I see the downloaded zip-files in the TMP folder.

KeymasterI’m 90% ready with a new package health check, to verify whether access rights are ok.
But if you cannot install packates, that won’t help you.You never answered whether you are use https for accessing PulseStation or not?
Which model of Synology do you have, then I will update the path to use https.
Kind regards,

KeymasterCan you refresh and try it again?
I’ve just updated all the update paths to use https in stead of http 🙂Kind regards,

ParticipantHi,
I don’t use https. I have a DS212+ with the latest firmware. I have tried again but still not working.

ParticipantHi again,
after installing pulse-station I didn’t see any addons.
After changing the addon-path in file “properties.json” located in “/web/PulseStation/setup” (partly discribed in https://www.pulse-station.com/forums/topic/no-add-ons-visible/ ) I see all addons. In my case (now) the files will be downloaded and save in the TMP folder but won’t be installed.
In that topic (https://www.pulse-station.com/forums/topic/empty-services-directory-failed-db-connection/) is an issue discribed where the database service is not installed.
Maybe because of a php error?thanks for your help
