It would be great if you could connect your Amazon Echo with PulseStation.
Will Amazon Echo supported in the future?
It’s very high on the wishlist of K.Rens, as soon as he can buy one, I know he will and then it will be only a limited amount of time untill it’s possible 🙂
There are already some php libraries available, that you could create a package for or that you could put inside a custom php block, eg: https://github.com/MiniCodeMonkey/amazon-alexa-php
Have fun, Laura

Hi Koen, today I`ll get my Echo dot! Jippii! But….what can I do now? How can Alexa open my shutters or turn on my lights?
What`s about your experience with Echo?
Hi,
It’s easy. I just linked it using ifttt to PulseStation. Hereby my example to run the scene that powers the tv: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/1146/8621877417.png
This is the manual for sending remote requests:
Control devices calling a url
Note: use username and password for remote actions.
Kind regards, K.Rens
Hi Koen, my christmas-present arrived.
As I understand: My first problem is, that I cannot control my TV via URL.
So I`m going to start with something easy: Open the Shutter.
Where do you get this:
I cannot find any skill “ifttt” 🙁 Andi
You just log into ifttt.com and there you create a new recipe. In this recipe you use the Alexa skill, not the trigger skill.
It will ask you to link your Alexa device.
Important Note:
Actuall the web-request does not work. I`m already in contact with Koen and he will keep on searchign for a solution. Andi
