    Hi,

    I just received a wall switch from noon. No problem to add it to the z-wave network neither to set parameters. I am trying to use it in “Central Scene” Mode.

    I try to define a new scene using this switch through blockly. In any z-wave action, when I select the module, I only have choice between “Level, Bright Or Dim”. It sounds like there is a problem in the definition of the outputs of this kind of switch, which is different of the other supported nodon module “CRC-3-1-00 Octan Remote”.

    The open Z-wave part is ok, I receive a scene Id when I press each button as requested (checked in the z-wave log).

    Is it a problem in the switch definition ? Can I do it by myself using blockly ?

    Thanks for your help

    You have to set the mode to “Scene Activation”.

    Normally the nodon has a lot more options than level, bright and dim.
    Maybe it’s because your nodon is not recognize as the nodon by the openzwave library.
    Normally once, your nodon is correctly recognize, you should see the event block in blockly.

    (I’m busy to write a small tuto)

    Hi Mika,

    Thank you for your answer. My device is well recognized by the open Z-wave library. In the Z-wave service, it is shown as a “Portable Remote Controller”, and in the properties, as a “CWS-3-1-01 Wall Switch”.

    Putting it in Scene activation, I see scene activation order :
    “2016-01-09 18:22:58.894 Info, Node006, Received Scene Activation set from node 6: scene id=30 now. Sending event notification.”

    But in blocky, still nothing (no event for this device) and only dim, brig-ght and level …

    Trying to continue, because Pulsestation seems very powerful.
    What was described before is not a big issue.
    I tried to continue with the following blockly :

    <xml xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”>
    <block type=”controls_if” x=”28″ y=”16″>
    <value name=”IF0″>
    <block type=”custom_event”>
    <value name=”VALUE”>
    <block type=”text”>
    <field name=”TEXT”>zwave-6_EVENT_10</field>
    </block>
    </value>
    </block>
    </value>
    <statement name=”DO0″>
    <block type=”custom_zwave_set”>
    <mutation device=”zwave-3″ value=”38-user-button-1-1″></mutation>
    <field name=”DEVICEID”>zwave-3</field>
    <field name=”VALUEID”>38-user-button-1-1</field>
    <field name=”VALUE”>true</field>
    <next>
    <block type=”custom_log”>
    <value name=”VALUE”>
    <block type=”text”>
    <field name=”TEXT”>Received Scene Id 10-Opening Roller Shutter</field>
    </block>
    </value>
    </block>
    </next>
    </block>
    </statement>
    </block>
    <block type=”custom_manually” x=”24″ y=”163″></block>
    <block type=”controls_if” x=”26″ y=”249″>
    <value name=”IF0″>
    <block type=”custom_event”>
    <value name=”VALUE”>
    <block type=”text”>
    <field name=”TEXT”>zwave-6_EVENT_30</field>
    </block>
    </value>
    </block>
    </value>
    <statement name=”DO0″>
    <block type=”custom_zwave_set”>
    <mutation device=”zwave-3″ value=”38-user-button-1-2″></mutation>
    <field name=”DEVICEID”>zwave-3</field>
    <field name=”VALUEID”>38-user-button-1-2</field>
    <field name=”VALUE”>true</field>
    <next>
    <block type=”custom_log”>
    <value name=”VALUE”>
    <block type=”text”>
    <field name=”TEXT”>Received Scene Id 30-Closing Roller Shutter</field>
    </block>
    </value>
    </block>
    </next>
    </block>
    </statement>
    </block>
    </xml>

    and the result is :

    So, the event is received, but the roller shutter stay in the same position. I really have trouble with blocky, certainly due to my setup, by I have no idea …. What can be missing to interact with the other device. It seems good using Roller shutter “Close” New value =”true” in blockly but it only seems …. another issue with this device and my installation ….

    Thank for your help

    For blockly, it’s “normal” for the moment I only tested the Octan Remote Controller. Not your but it seems that you find the trick to make it work.

    For your roller shutter, did you already try to “play” with it via the zwave service ?
    Calibrate your roller shutter, change the level, etc ?
    In my case, I just use the level property to open/close it.

    Bonjour Mika,
    je viens de faire l’acquisition aussi du Wall Switch CWS-3-1-01.
    As-tu avancer dans les blockly?
    Perso je vais l’utiliser pour faire une seconde commande d’éclairage dans ma cuisine via un Flush Relay.
    Merci d’avance
