ParticipantHello,
after some updates from Synology (PHP7, Webstation, DSM 6.xx) I tried to setup PulseStation newly (PulseStation did not work properly, in most cases uninstall/reinstall helps). So I wanted to uninstall the PulseStation package in the Package Center of DSM. I got the message that an uninstall is not possible. I tried to (over)install the *.spk manually with out success. Futhermore I tried to delete the package via shell (rm -r) in the var/packages/ folder also without success. Do you have a hint how to uninstall PulseStation?
Regards

ParticipantHello,
This is my first install on a DSM 6.1.1-15101 Update 2.
Pulsestation was not working properly, it wasn’t saving admin password change so I understood the DB connexion part wasn’t ok, I used the FAQ topic related to that point and tried to uninstall Pulsestation to resinstall it.
I get the same error as Michael. Do you have any clue ?Thanks & Regards,

ParticipantHello,
I have the same issue. I cannot uninstall the pulse station.
I just re-installed pulse-station and updated the core service.
After that I lost the core folder in /volume1/web/PulseStation/services/, lost the core service in he back end and connot uninstall pulse station.
WebService is running with apache 2.2 and php 5.6. All necessary addons are activated.
Do you have a general solution or do we need to do a websession? Thanks in advance

ParticipantHI, I help myself with the following shell commands: https://www.pulse-station.com/forums/topic/uninstall/page/2/#post-11743
An uninstall from Synology Package Center is still not possible.

KeymasterHi Michael,
Sorry for the inconvenience, I was on holiday.
The link was indeed the correct solution to uninstall the package.
The reason it does not work via Package Center is unknown, we no longer have the rights to remove the files required via the Package Manager.
I’ll contact Synology again to verify whether they already have a solution now.Koen
Kind regards,

ParticipantHi,
Has this been rectified yet… its been over a year, and I have NOT been able to uninstall it or use my PORT 80 for web hosting due to this application hogging it for no reason!
This should have been fixed by now! I can’t believe that the application is STILL available on the app centre for others to download still and mess their NAS up!
