    Hey,

    I am having an issue with the yahoo weather service. I didn’t change anything so the service stopped working about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I read your news regarding the relaunch of the service and tried to update. But: under “software update” nothing new would appear. And when I click on “SHOP”, it will show me the LOADING icon but then nothing happens.

    Any idea how to fix that?

    Hello again,

    regarding Yahoo weather: I cannot stop the service, I cannot remove cities, I cannot edit the json file as it is locked. What could I do?

    Hi,

    Are you maybe on the beta channel still?
    If so, switch to production.
    You can change the url inside the setup folder.

    Just remove the beta from the url.

    You can force kill the yahoo weather service, then correct access rights to the file yweather.json in the data folder and then try starting the service again.
    This should resolve the issue, if not I will check with you on the chat.
